I have worked in the HVAC industry most of my life. My grandfather ran Abbott Heating in Twin Falls in the 40's and 50's. I started out as an installer, moving to service, and in the past 12 years learned, in depth, the energy process and how to create a comfortable home environment. I have lived in the Boise area all of my life and am proud to say that I am married to my best friend and high school sweetheart for 29 years now. We have two fantastic adult kids. Sarah, works in the office of a local group of doctors. The summer of 2017 she will be getting married. Cody, has a job in sales at a tech firm in Salt Lake City. In my spare time I love camping, riding my ATV, puttering in my shop, camping and cheering on the Boise State Broncos! I am proud to represent this great company, giving a superior level of customer service.

As an Idaho native I was raised in Magic Valley and graduated high school in 1992. I transferred to Boise State University after junior college and studied finance and business. I have been fortunate to assist homeowners with improvements for the last 20 years in various capacities. I became involved with heating/cooling 8 years ago after gaining experience in building performance. Sharing the same values of integrity and honesty, the move to Western was a natural fit. My passion is to create the best customer experience while providing the most appropriate solutions. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids. We love taking in everything Idaho has to offer! Mountain biking in the Foothills, salmon fishing, big game hunting, and camping in Donnelly is a few of our favorite activities.
I have been in the HVAC business since 1999. My entry into the HVAC world was as a duct cleaner for 4 years, from there I began installing systems for 7 years, mostly in new home construction. I then moved into the office where I started running heat load calculations and doing design work, while also bidding new home construction homes. I did that for 5 years. In that role I was able to occasionally go meet with homeowners interested in replacing their systems, or adding A/C to their heating system. I found that I really enjoyed the one on one time with individual homeowners much more than looking at plans all day. I am very grateful for the knowledge I attained while in that role, but feel I have found my long-term home in the HVAC world.
My goal as a Project Manager here at Western Heating and Air is to make sure that your needs are taken care of. I will spend time asking you some questions and getting to know how you use your system to help figure out what makes the most sense for you. We will look at any possible fixes you may need in the home, whether there is an airflow issue, sizing issue, indoor air quality needs, bad ductwork, etc…. My job is to help guide you through this process, and assist you in making the best decision for YOU moving forward.
