Born and raised in Idaho, my family started Western Heating in 1967. I began working here when I was 12 years old and have fulfilled almost every position involved in running this company. I took over as General Manager in 2000 and by 2009 was the sole owner. We are proud to be experts in residential HVAC, long time members of the community, as well as innovative leaders of the trade. We greatly appreciate being a part of a community that made our most recent honor, the Better Business Bureau Integrity Counts Award, possible- thank you. We take great pride in our reputation in the Treasure Valley which is why I assure each and every one of our customers that I would not send someone to your home that I would not trust in my own. I am married with 3 kids who have each contributed to the success of the company. My hobbies include golfing, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, boating, and spending BSU game days tailgating under the Western tent.
I was born and raised right here in Boise, Idaho. After High School I studied Business Management from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana and Adult Organizational Learning and Leadership online from the University of Idaho for my Masters Degree. Initially I worked in the financial and insurance industry until landing my career in the HVAC industry. My husband, John, and I raise beef cattle and hay on a ranch just outside of Sweet, Idaho. Before joining the Western team as Service Coordinator I worked for two other HVAC companies near the Treasure Valley. I love working here at Western and going home to enjoy all the ranching lifestyle has to offer – great people, lots of animals, and the sweet smell of hay!
It has been a great experience working here at Western Heating & Air Conditioning. I continue to be impressed by the management and really the quality of industry excellence we have to offer. There are not many companies that offer the longevity and technical expertise we have here.
Here at Western my job includes maintaining the level of excellence throughout the Service Department. I am BPI certified and skilled in full system design. I graduated from Alabama's finest, Auburn University with a degree in Anthropology in 2001 and soon moved out west where I started working back in the HVAC industry. Fourteen years in the business, I started in service, moved to sales, and have now been here at Western Heating for seven years. My wife and I have two daughters and two dogs. I spend the weekends golfing... and golfing.
I was raised on my family’s Quarter Horse ranch in Eagle and graduated Meridian HS in 1991. I immediately joined the US Air Force and after Desert Storm, I came back home to Boise and continued service through the Idaho Army National Guard. Since then, for the last 20 years, I’ve held almost every position in the HVAC industry but found that managing small businesses was where my passion was. So I took a hiatus away from HVAC to finish college in Business Administration and spent a few years helping a variety of other small businesses improve their operations and organizational culture. Ultimately, I came back to the HVAC industry and brought with me all of the formal education and practical experiences that I now get the privilege to share with the Western family! My top priorities are my two boys and my beautiful girlfriend Jacquelyn who all inspire me daily to appreciate what we have and to love those we serve. My hobbies are wake-surfing, mountain biking, snow-boarding, scuba diving, and flying but I enjoy working as much as I love playing simply because of the positive attitudes and high ethical standards that we all share at Western!
